Narberth Library is partnering with YOGA206 in presenting a weekly chair yoga program on Tuesdays at 10am via Zoom to boost your bones, body, and brain.
Each class includes a chair yoga sequence that promotes body and breath awareness, activated muscle engagement, and energy flow. Chair yoga is wonderful for all ages, body types and levels, and a chair is the only necessary piece of equipment!
Fee per class is $10, and a pre-paid class package for $50 is available. If interested, email YOGA206@icloud.com.
YOGA206, by Abby Contract, is a Narberth area full service private and group yoga practice, that focuses on clients mostly age fifty and over, of all levels. Keeping in mind that many clients have health and age-related conditions, YOGA206 targets bone and muscle strength with a safe, mindful practice. Yoga instructor Abby Contract began her yoga path many years ago in a college gym class, where Savasana or ‘nap time’ was her favorite position. Flashing forward decades later, she is committed to a steady yoga practice, and teaching the benefits of yoga. Her training includes the 200HR Yoga Alliance Certified RYT and Yin Certification at Prana Das, Chair Yoga on Main, and IAYT – Accredited Yoga for Bone Health Certification.
