The Internet Public Library – a public library for the World Wide Web – has compiled a list of useful online resources for senior citizens.


The POWER Library Program is a collection of online reference materials, periodicals, and a photo library (library card required for home access)

Medical and Retirement Information

The AARP has compiled a lot of information about issues relating to retired persons as well as informational essays about lifestyle changes, family, money management, working etc.


Medicare.gov is the government’s website for Medicare containing all the information you would ever need to know about it.


The Merck Manual provides detailed clinical information about the medical problems of senior citizens.


The NIHSeniorHealth.gov is an easy to read and navigate website with health information specifically designed for older adults.


Leading Age PA’s Senior Services Select has information on making decisions on senior residential and health-related services.

Government Resources

Medicare.gov is the government’s website for Medicare containing all the information you would ever need to know about it.


U.S. Government Senior Citizens’ Resources

The U.S. Government has put together online resources to provide senior citizens, and anyone who works on their behalf, with one site where they can access government services and information about government agencies, social security benefits, health and nutrition, taxes, consumer protection, etc.
